JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

• Prepare paper machine roll parts for blasting and painting using air tools, hand tools and large blasting unit
• Painting of parts
• Use of forklifts and overhead cranes to complete job assignments
• Help meet or exceed quality goals through a quality maintenance program
• Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
• Languages: English
• Qualified candidates will have basic computer/data entry skills
• Ability to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks for extended periods (lifting, walking, climbing, pushing, twisting, and stooping).
• Requires frequent lifting of moderately heavy objects and occasional lifting of objects 50 pounds and over. Requires hand dexterity for repetitive movements, operation of hand power tools and heavy machinery. Requires person to be standing for extensive periods of time.
