Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Expert Business Analyst our NYS Information Technology Services Team located in Albany, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review business and functional requirements, as well as related Use Cases related to multiple DOCCS Web Application and Web Services
• Create and maintain documentation in Testing Tools such as HP ALM; coordinate, create and update Knowledge Base and Application documentation
• Develop or maintain detailed test plans/test cases/test scripts from documented system requirements related to Web Services and Web applications
• Execute functional and system tests including regression tests using manual and automated testing tools and record results using testing tools. Use tools such as HP ALM/Quality Center, SOAP UI and POSTMAN
• Identify and document application defects and track to resolution, perform retesting as required.
• Identify and document deficiencies in system documentation (e.g. missing or ambiguous requirements) identified during the testing process.
• Ensure appropriate test coverage by mapping system requirements to test cases
• Lead the communication and reporting of testing results to BA Management, Application Development team, and Enterprise Architecture team
• Attend Remediation Effort meetings and communicate progress and status

Qualifications:

84+ Months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• 84 months experience developing and/or maintaining system artifacts and documentation including business requirements, user, and functional requirements, project process documentation, quality assurance and contingency operations plans and reports.
• 84 Months experience in obtaining and writing use cases, process models, workflows, creating screen mock-ups, report mock-ups and technical documents with attention to detail.
• 60 months experience QA experience including the following:
• Create Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test scripts
• Execute functional and system tests including regression tests using manual and automated testing tools and record results using HP ALM/Quality Center (or equivalent)
• Identify and document application defects and track to resolution, performing retesting as required.
• Identify and document deficiencies in system documentation (e.g. missing or ambiguous requirements) identified during the testing process.
• Ensure appropriate test coverage by mapping system requirements to test cases
• 24 months experience validating requirements and executing test cases specific to web services. Experience should include using testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI or an equivalent

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current hourly range is $49.00 and $59.00
