Our client, an executive search firm located in the Boston area is seeking a temporary Office Coordinator to join their team. This role has the potential to turn permanent but it is not guranteed. The role is onsite in Boston, being from 8:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday. This role includes duties such as front desk reception, planning events, and document preparation. This position is compensating between $28 and $30 an hour depending on experience. Interested and qualified candidates are encouraged to apply today!
Responsibilities:
- Service as front-desk reception and hosting clients and candidates in the office
- Planning internal and external events, including scheduling, booking meeting space, coordinating catering, and managing logistics
- Edit, print, scan and bind documents as needed
- Managing mailing list distribution and selection / delivery of gifts for internal recognition as well as for successful candidates
Qualifications:
- Project management and attention to detail: Ability to prioritize, manage, and balance a variety of responsibilities effectively, efficiently, and accurately
- Problem solving capabilities: Ability to quickly synthesize information, connect dots and develop solutions.
- Relationship builder: Excellent interpersonal relationship skills, particularly the ability to develop rapport and engage with people at all levels
- Communicator and Service-Orientation: Skillful communicator who can develop clear messaging, provide quality service, and effectively adapt style to fit different audiences
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
