Location/Division Specific Information
Middletown, VA
How will you make an impact:
The Middletown site manufactures in vitro diagnostic reagents, controls and calibrators, which are used in conjunction with clinical diagnostic instrumentation.
What will you do?
- Operate, maintain & troubleshoot all production equipment associated within the department to prevent and/or correct mechanical breakdowns.
- Set up Work Centers in a timely and organized manner, and tear down the Work Center when the Work Order is complete.
- Troubleshoot machine issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
- Train operators on set-up processes.
- Work alone or with other technicians to perform filling, labeling, and/or packaging of products.
- Align with GMP, ISO 13485 guidelines and company SOPs.
- Follow proper GDP practices.
- Take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
- Efficiently and safely operate machinery, check for simple maintenance as needed, and make adjustments when necessary.
- Perform line opening/line closing functions.
- Perform production paperwork responsibilities.
ExperienceMinimum of two years of experience in manufacturing.

- Proven track record to follow policies and procedures, instructions, and to meet project timelines consistently and independently.
- Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, plan, and forecast multiple projects at one time.
- Ability to work in a team environment and influence others to achieve results.
