Baer is looking for Oracle ERP Project Manager for a 12+ month project located in Alsip, IL.

Title: Oracle ERP Project Manager
Location: Hybrid - Alsip, IL
Duration: 12 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C

Description:

• Lead the end-to-end management of the Oracle ERP transformation project, from initial planning through execution and go-live.
• Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, identifying milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Coordinate with functional leads, technical teams, and external partners to ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Oversee the project budget, timeline, and resource allocation, providing regular updates to the steering committee and executive stakeholders.
• Proactively manage project risks, issues, actions, and decisions, implementing mitigation strategies and escalating as necessary to ensure project progress.
• Facilitate communication across project teams and stakeholders, preparing regular project status reports and ensuring deliverables are on track.
• Act as the main point of contact for vendors, systems integrators (SIs), and contractors, managing contracts, timelines, and deliverables to ensure alignment with project needs.
• Lead vendor and contractor onboarding and track performance, ensuring clear communication and accountability.
• Collaborate with functional leads and PMO support to drive stakeholder engagement and user adoption, ensuring a smooth transition during platform transformations.
• Ensure that quality, governance, and procedural standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of project management experience, with at least 4+ years in ERP or large-scale IT implementations.
• Proven experience managing Oracle ERP transformations, particularly in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, is highly preferred.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated experience working in cross-functional, global environments.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Strong contract management and negotiation skills.
• Experience with Oracle ERP systems, particularly in supply chain, manufacturing, and finance functional areas.
• Familiarity with change management processes for ERP platform transformations.
