Candidates must be organized, proactive, self-sufficient, have good verbal and written skills, and must be able to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
DESIRED SKILLS:
A general knowledge of telecommunications is preferred.
JOB DUTIES:
The Managed Services Implementation Order Coordinator is responsible for executing the implementation schedule for Managed Services. Duties include processing Managed Service Order Forms (MSOFs), tracking CPE and site milestones, and coordinating dispatches for customer premise equipment installation to customer locations with operations and third party vendors.
The Implementation Order Coordinator is responsible for the data integrity of systems. Work assignments are made on a customer and project basis allowing the Implementation Order Coordinator to focus on customer needs while supporting the Managed Service Project Manager and Order Manager.
He/She provides real time direct support to internal and external customers for managed services during the preparation, activation/testing/cutover, and post completion tasks associated with any scheduled activity.
The Implementation Order Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the activation and testing of the services are activated on the scheduled activity dates.
This is accomplished by performing pre-verification checklists, pre-arranging and scheduling all necessary internal and external personnel associated with any managed services activity.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
College degree or equivalent and 2 years industry specific technical experience or 5 years experience at a service provider level preferred.
LOGISTICS:
Shift: Typically M - F; 8am - 5pm eastern Occasional after hours and weekend activities will be required from time-to-time based on customer demands.
