Title:Organizational Strategist (Consultant, Senior Consultant)

What You'll Do

• Partner with clients to design and implement innovative operating models, organization structures, and ways of working that align with business strategy, addressing challenges through workshops and leadership alignment sessions.
• Lead and support discussions to help clients navigate organizational strategy decisions, such as establishing product teams, Centers of Excellence, and Shared Services, while articulating the unique value propositions of new business units or organizations.
• Design, develop, and deliver leadership engagement activities that build alignment, secure buy-in, and ensure the successful execution of mission-driven strategies and organizational frameworks.
• Apply a deep understanding of organizational principles across various industries, quickly building client credibility, and integrating organizational activities into broader business transformation initiatives.
• Develop and implement change management solutions to support execution and enablement efforts of organizational changes and new ways of working.

What You'll Bring

• Experience working at a traditional or boutique consulting firm
• Experience designing and applying operating model and organization principles, methodologies, and tools - and knowing when to not over-engineer
• Ability to lead the design and facilitation of strategic planning sessions - aligning leaders around a shared mission, vision, and strategy
• Experience in organizational assessment, workforce planning, and organizational design/structure that allows for capability development and organizational scaling
• Experience in creating personas, user journeys, role descriptions, and role mapping.
• Experience implementing change management solutions, inclusive of communications, engagement, and learning.
• Outstanding interpersonal communication skills with audiences of all levels with the ability to convey ideas and recommendations in a clear, compelling, and succinct way
• Comfortability navigating ambiguity and interfacing directly with clients.
• Ability to be onsite in greater Detroit or Grand Rapids area for 1-3 days per week.
