Departmental Objective:The Office of University Advancement is responsible for leading fundraising activities for Christopher Newport University on behalf of the Christopher Newport Education Foundation by seeking contributions from "private" constituencies that include: alumni, parents, friends, faculty staff, students, corporations and foundations.
Purpose of the Position:Reporting to the Director of Parent Giving and Athletic Giving, and in conjunction with other members of the Parent and Athletic Giving team, this position will provide strategy management and implementation of Parent and Athletic Giving campaigns and special projects serving as the Parents and Athletics Giving Manager for the President's Parent Council, Graduated Parents and Champions Club campaigns. It serves as a team member working towards both monetary and participation goals involving Parents, Alumni, Faculty and Staff and friends.
