Job Summary:
Builds rapport with patients and their families and provides support to improve experience of care. Consults with colleagues/other staff to improve quality, effectiveness, efficiency. Provides information, resources, mentoring, and support. Identifies gaps/strategies to support outcomes. Work environment is one of collaboration, high energy and mutual support. Position Requirements:
Bachelors Degree and 2 years or more of experience in healthcare. Additional years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of minimum education requirement. Microsoft suite experience. Effective communicator. Presentation skills. Project/program management. Knowledgeable of resources. Self-motivated. Conflict resolution.
Preferred Requirements:
5 years or more of experience in Patient Advocacy, Clinical Pastoral Education, patient experience/satisfaction. Strong writing/presentation ability. Support group development. Patient Advocacy, Patient Satisfaction knowledge. Aggressive behavior training. Certifications: Patient Advocacy; Ethics; MOAB; Chaplain.
