Job Description

  • Sanitation
  • Washes and sanitizes delivery carts and refrigeration inside the department.
  • Completes special sanitation assignments.
  • Cleans counters and sinks and coffee/tea station after use.
  • Prepares and delivers floor supply to storage on the units.
  • Records refrigerator temperatures in the Kitchen.
  • Delivers and picks up patient meal trays; prepares bed stand for patient upon tray delivery.
  • Ensures floor/patient and nursing needs are met.
  • Checks with patient to assure that meals are appropriate and patient food service needs are met.
  • Follows tray scripting to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Utilizes two patient identifiers (Name & DOB) upon entering patients' room for patient safety.
