  • Communicate managing philosophies and objectives to employees to ensure their participation in the achievement of facility and asset team objectives. Provide hourly performance feedback and document annually.
  • Provide leadership in the event of a facility emergency. Assess the situation and ensure appropriate measures are being implemented to control the emergency. In crisis situations, initiate the appropriate contact with upper management.
  • Address performance issues and assist in the resolution of conflict, encouraging resolution to occur at the lowest organizational level.
  • Maintain high employee morale through positive motivation and leadership and strict adherence to facility norms and understandings, policies and guidelines.
  • Support the training and development of employees to ensure continued plant growth, effective operation and to minimize need for direct supervision.
  • Audit production and quality of operating departments on shift to ensure production of acceptable product.
  • Utilizing SAP and PIPEMAP, monitor and maintain production inventories, complete month-end reconciliation, and audit department costs.
  • Review departmental costs for items outside of budgeted spending.
  • Work with the TALCM best practices for identifying and controlling work orders and assigning appropriate maintenance personnel.
  • Facilitate scheduling of production employees, equipment operation, and material flow to ensure attainment of customer service.
  • Ensure that established internal control policies, instructions, or procedures are followed as they apply to this position.
  • Communicate fully with superiors, subordinates and others who have need to know. Be informative without being obtrusive or vexatious. Communicate in a way that is timely, yet prompt; complete, yet concise; candid, yet accurate; and clear, yet responsive.
  • Provide leadership to ensure the organization attracts, develops, and retains the best people and fosters an environment which motivates a diverse team to fully use its capabilities in achieving desired business results.
  • Responsible for reviewing and authorizing timecards bi-weekly for team members which may include reconciling data and any necessary follow-ups.

The successful candidate will join the Neenah Cold Springs Operations team and report to Product System Sr Manager.
