Your Role:

As a Production Supervisor, you will be supervising plant operations. In this role you will have a strong focus on safety. Responsibilities will include:

  • Direct supervision of 20-35 hourly personnel and facility security.
  • Work with production, transportation, and maintenance scheduling to ensure processes run smoothly and order delivery times are met.
  • Perform accurate and timely processing of order confirmations in SAP.
  • Facilitate completion of Management of Change Requests, Document Change Requests, Corrective Action Requests, Customer Complaints.
  • Participate in nonconforming product root cause analyses.
  • Lead near miss/incident investigations and generate the required reports.
  • Lead or participate on a Safety Steering Committee Team.
  • Operate procedure reviews and improvements.
  • Process troubleshooting.
  • Process area housekeeping.
  • Vacation scheduling and human resource tasks.
  • Daily production reporting.
  • SPC/SQC implementation and review.
  • Stable Ops form review and analysis.
  • Participating in the Process Safety Management/Risk Management Program.
  • Generate cost saving ideas as part of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO9000 9001, ISP14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards for all department functions.

Who You Are:

This role will be 12-hour shifts, rotating between days/nights every 2 weeks on a 2on/2off/3on schedule.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Chemical manufacturing experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
  • Leadership/supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency in reading and developing procedures.
  • Operational knowledge of SAP.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Windows/Word/Excel.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
