Job Title: Project Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Accountant to join our clients' team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong background in the construction industry. This role requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle all aspects of accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) for those projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage financial aspects of multiple construction projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Oversee AR/AP processes for assigned projects, including invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation.
• Prepare and analyze project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure financial objectives are met.
• Utilize CMIC software for project accounting tasks (experience with CMIC is a plus).
• Conduct regular financial reviews and audits to ensure project profitability and cost control.
• Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on the construction industry.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of AR/AP processes and best practices.
• Proficiency in CMIC software is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance.
