Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Project Management Analyst.

Position type: Full-time - Contract

Duration: 12+ Months

Location: Newport News, VA

As a Project Management Analyst, you will:

• Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.

• Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.

• Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

• Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Primary Responsibilities

• Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of experience. Master's Degree and 1 year of experience.

• Project Management Experience and Relative Software preferred but not required; Microsoft Office Suite or Similar experience is required.

• Position provides high level cost estimating, project planning, risk analysis and mitigation, engineering design review and approval, and field engineering support for the design and construction of heavy industrial buildings and waterfront/ship construction facilities.

• Responsible for all aspects of project management including technical proposal development, proposal review, construction planning, development of project financials, metrics and budget tracking, engineering drawing/submittal review and approval, review of contractor safety and quality plans, start up and commissioning.

• Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.

• Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.

• Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

• Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

• Finance background, ability to multitask, and proficient in Microsoft Excel.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $35 - 39 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
