The Punch Press Operator will setup and operate multiple presses and spot welders to manufacture components. This position could perform other tasks as assigned including operating/maintaining machinery and working on a production line. This is a 1st shift position.

Key Responsibilities
• Operating a punch press machine.
• Dimensionally and visually inspects parts produced to ensure meets customer requirements.
• Use various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Maintains logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product
inconsistencies.
• Moving the pieces or the products to the next stage of the manufacturing process using pallet jacks
or fork truck.
• Completing quality checks upon completion of product.
• Keeping the workstations orderly and storing & maintaining the tools, parts, test equipment and
documentation etc.
• Keep work area clean at all times following 5S methods.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Key Requirements
• Experience operating presses and spot welders.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment a must.
• Knowledge of and training in ISO9001:2015 a plus.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Detail-oriented, organized and consistent.
• Works well as a productive member of a team.
• Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
• Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.
• Maintain good safety record.

High School or equivalent

Physical Requirements
• Ability to maintain prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time, as many items are cumbersome and heavy.
• Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products as directed.
• Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
