This position is located south of Fort Worth, TX.
Compensation will be in the 85-95k range depending on experience
Please bring 3+ years of experience in a supervisor/manager level role within a Food and Beverage Manufacturing environment.
About the Role
The QA Manager is responsible for leading the Quality Assurance team, ensuring compliance with food safety and regulatory standards, and driving continuous improvement in product quality. This role involves collaboration across various departments to maintain and enhance the company's quality and safety programs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the execution and improvement of Quality and Food Safety Systems in alignment with company policies and industry regulations.
- Work in partnership with the Director of Food Safety to ensure adherence to HACCP plans, FDA/USDA regulations, and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve quality issues and implement preventive measures to mitigate risks.
- Analyze quality data, monitor trends, and prepare reports to inform strategic decisions.
- Develop and implement training programs to educate staff on quality assurance and food safety practices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for quality assurance systems, audits, and certifications.
- Conduct root cause analyses and drive corrective actions to address non-conformities in production processes.
- Lead quality audits and collaborate with regulatory agencies to meet all compliance requirements.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory compliance (FDA/USDA), and industry standards.
- HAACP or PCQI
- 3+ Years of Experience of FSQA leadership experience in a Food Manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree OR Equivalent Experience
