Radiation Oncologist - Mass General Cancer Center at Cooley Dickinson Hospital - Northampton, MA
The Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Radiation Oncology at Cooley Dickinson Hospital seeks to recruit a full-time radiation oncologist to join its physician practice. As an integral member of Mass General Cancer Services, the Radiation Oncology Department is equipped with a Varian TrueBeam with integrated imaging capabilities, a CT Simulator, and Raystation Treatment Planning. Presently, 30-40 patients are treated per day. The practice has a supportive team of radiation therapists, nurses, medical dosimetrists, physicists, and administrative support staff.
This position will be directly employed with Massachusetts General Hospital, but will work out of Northampton, MA. Candidates should have an MD/DO degree, training in Radiation Oncology and be Board certified or Board eligible in Radiation Oncology.
The qualified individual will have strong connections to and enjoy opportunities for collaborative work with members of the Mass General Department based in Boston. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work successfully in a multi-disciplinary team are essential qualities.

The Cooley Dickinson Hospital, an affiliate of Mass General Brigham, has a medical staff of approximately 500 active members (physicians and advanced practice clinicians). The system is comprised of the Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Cooley Dickinson Medical Group, as well as a VNA and Hospice. The system's 140-bed hospital annually admits 8,600 patients, treats 34,000 emergency patients, and delivers approximately 600 babies. The VNA & Hospice averages 56,500 home care visits and serves an average of 400 hospice patients per year.
