We invite applications for our Regional Director of Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplantation position, based within our Northern Virginia service area.

What You Can Expect:

  • Unique and exciting opportunity to build a comprehensive program for congestive heart failure across the spectrum of care, integrating innovation solutions for chronic disease management and care of critically ill patients across the Mid-Atlantic
  • Overseeing & supporting all 3 of our service area heart failure teams
  • Supportive environment as the program grows and evolves
  • Tyson’s Corner Medical Center is the primary base for our Heart Failure Clinic
  • Light call shared between the group

Minimum Requirements:
  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Cardiology
  • Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Fellowship
  • Expertise in advanced therapies in Heart Failure
  • Clinical experience in managing patients with advanced heart failure, including the management of inotropes, temporary and durable Mechanical Cardiac Support, and pre- and post- heart transplantation management
  • Prior leadership experience is preferred
  • Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
  • Work visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants

The starting annual salary for this position is $550,000 which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary range above, MAPMG offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
