In order to ensure your application is complete, you must complete the following:Works under the direct supervision of Dr. Devina Purmessur Walter on extramural funded projects; assists with experiment set up and operation in a laboratory located in the Department of Biomedical Engineering in Fontana labs; responsible for maintaining and overseeing cell and tissue culture preparations including animal handling; assists in developing standard operating protocols, conducting research experiments related to cell animal models and basic data analysis (image analysis, biochemical assays etc); works with clinicians to obtain surgical specimens; assists in supporting other laboratory members and students; manages and maintains laboratory equipment, performs administrative tasks, maintaining stock reagents and solutions; orders supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Biological sciences or Biomedical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education or experience required;
Desired
1 year previous experience with biological laboratory and animal work
Additional Information:The target hiring range for this job profile is $15.70 - 20.67/hr, paid biweekly. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limit to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
