Description

Help Behavioral Health Network provide the steps to success for adults with mental health difficulties in Springfield Ma!

Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Respite Unit at Behavioral Health Network!

Counselors help provide services and comfort for the adult mental health population in Western Massachusetts as they work to meet program goals.

• Use your interviewing, observation, and documentation skills to plan and implement treatment services.
• Gain exposure to opportunities that promote learning and growth within your position.
• Multidisciplinary collaboration with the individuals served, their family members, and service providers.
• Counselors' complete mental status exams and develop their ability to work as a team.
• Supervision and training is provided as a regular part of the Counselors' position.

The Respite Unit is a safe, supervised environment. Individuals served are provided a range of services including need assessments, groups, and one-on-one counseling.

Counselors at Behavioral Health Network have the following qualities:

• 2-year experience in a human service field or equivalent experience with a psychiatric population.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred)
• Bachelor's Degree (required).
