Core Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing seasonal planograms for each store segment 3 to 4 times annually with a strong focus on shopper access, ease of execution, and key product priorities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams to develop merchandise flow plans for individual stores, ensuring alignment with theme-driven strategies.
  • Assist in managing seasonal floor-set process, including development and communication of Seasonal Floor-Set Directive, store staff coaching and guidance, and photo submission review.
  • Assist in driving store fixture development through consistent identification of space and merchandise opportunities. Collaborate closely with Retail Development & Visual Merchandise team to ensure that fixtures are developed in alignment with time and budgetary constraints.
  • Assist in determining and managing item level shelf fill for the entire assortment, maintain shelf fill quantities on assortment sheet. Review shelf fill seasonally to ensure quantities align with the demands of the current planograms.
  • Assist in building comprehensive merchandising plan for all new store openings, including planograms, merchandise flow, Pick A Brick plan, and BAM Directive.
  • Assist in creating Ad-Hoc Plans and Directives as needed to accommodate any seasonal or incremental merchandise opportunities.
  • Consistently collaborate with LBR Operation team & Visual Merchandising team to drive continuous improvement in Merchandising area, visiting LBR stores frequently.
  • Issue monthly store signage directives for "new", "top rated", and "retiring soon" merchandise.

The LEGO Retail Global Merchandising Team helps to deliver the LEGO Group's assortment strategy to shoppers around the globe through our LEGO Retail Stores and shop.LEGO.com. We lead the assortment planning, merchandising and launch strategy for the global LEGO Retail business.

Do you have what it takes?
  • 5+ years of retail experience and preferably retail space planning experience with Blue Yonder tools
  • Ability to analyze data, find opportunities and effectively recommend priorities based on an understanding of merchandising strategies and objectives
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships cross functionally
  • Motivated to be proactive and results orientated. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and Word) and other PC planning software (SAP or other planning tools)
  • Consistently strives to deliver strong results to improve business performance and takes understanding of short-term opportunities for change into daily work
  • Knowledge of the general market with a basic understanding of customer needs preferred
  • Ability to provide support to colleagues and their development of critical capabilities by pointing out areas of improvement, providing feedback and directing others to the best solutions preferred
  • Domestic and International Travel Required (10-20%)
Additional details on this position
  • The salary for this position has a range of $100,900 - $151,300 USD based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.
  • This position will initially be based at 10 St. James Ave. in Boston, before moving to a new office location at 1001 Boylston St by mid-2025. Our hiring teams will discuss this with you during the interview stages.
