Vertiv is hiring a Revit/BIM Designer in Anderson, SC for our Building Information Modeling (BIM) team. This person will play a crucial role in implementing design processes for our critical infrastructure customers. We are seeking expertise with Revit and AutoCAD, SolidWorks experience is a plus. Building Information Modeling (BIM) experience is a plus but not mandatory. Attention to detail and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams will be essential for the effective execution of this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the coordination efforts for multiple projects, collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the accurate representation of project data within the design environment.
  • Coordinate busbar services within multidisciplinary models to identify and resolve clashes, discrepancies, and potential conflicts in design and construction.
  • Develop and implement execution plans, standards, and protocols to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
  • Oversee the creation, maintenance, and management of models, including data integration, clash detection, and coordination of design and construction information.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure deliverables align with project timelines and objectives.
  • Conduct regular reviews of models to identify and resolve clashes, discrepancies, and potential design issues.
  • Work closely with technology teams to evaluate, implement, and optimize software, tools, and workflows.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in CAD and related technologies.
  • Liaise with clients and external partners to address CAD-related inquiries and ensure alignment with project requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
  • The candidate should have experience with Revit and AutoCAD.
  • 0 to 5+ years experience in CAD coordination, with a background using CAD software and technologies.
  • Associate's degree in architecture, design, engineering or related field. Or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong understanding of CAD standards, protocols, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with construction and design processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
