We are seeking a talented individual to join our National Real Estate Practice Department team at Marsh. This role will be based in San Diego, CA and is an on-site role that has a requirement of working at our clients office. In this position, you will play a key role in analyzing findings, driving operational support, and contributing to the achievement of our team's objectives while maintaining a solid understanding of relevant insurance legislation.
We will count on you to:
- Respond to insurance claims/litigation support as needed.
- Respond to lenders, partners, auditors, various state and federal agencies, due diligence matters.
- Leverage Risk Management System to organize and track incident reports and insurance claims- ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Respond to inquiries, maintain documentation of emails and attachments.
- Review various contracts for insurance and indemnity compliance requirements to manage obligations and risk exposure.
- Request and monitor evidence of insurance to lenders, investors, third party vendors to satisfy loan and management requirements.
- Maintain litigation schedule of open insured matters.
- Assist with other compliance and risk management issues.
What you need to have:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Basic understanding of core aspects of relevant insurance claims and related legislation.
What makes you stand out:
- Over 3 years of experience in insurance claims and legal/paralegal roles.
- Licensed Notary with a Paralegal Certificate or equivalent.
- Preferred background in real estate property management, development, or construction.
- Experience with General Liability Claims.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with knowledge of insurance and claims management.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $61,400 to $131,000.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
