Baer is looking for an SAP S4 Procurement Resource for a 6+ month remote project.

Title: SAP S4 Procurement Resource
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)

Description:

• Lead the development and configuration of SAP S/4 HANA solutions in the Procurement space, including the implementation of Accounts Payable (AP) processes, purchase order management, supplier invoicing, and vendor management.
• Design, develop, and implement BTP (Business Technology Platform) integration solutions to connect SAP S/4 HANA Procurement functionality with external systems, ensuring seamless data flow across business applications.
• Utilize OData, APIs, and SOAP services for building robust integration points between SAP S/4 HANA and third-party systems. Design and implement APIs and web services to support business requirements and enhance the functionality of procurement processes.
• Highly experienced in ABAP development to extend and customize SAP functionality in the procurement domain. Design, write, and optimize ABAP programs, reports, and user exits to meet business requirements.
• Work closely with procurement business users to understand their needs, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver customized SAP solutions that improve procurement efficiency, accuracy, and integration.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test scripts for SAP solutions, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring that all integrations and developments meet business requirements.
• Provide ongoing support for SAP S/4 HANA Procurement solutions, troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues, and ensure the stability and performance of integrated procurement processes.
• Document all development work, integrations, and customizations thoroughly. Provide training and knowledge transfer to end users, ensuring that they are equipped to fully leverage the SAP S/4 Procurement solution.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and optimization within the SAP S/4 Procurement space, and proactively drive initiatives that enhance business outcomes.

Requirements:

• Highly experienced in SAP S/4 HANA development within the Procurement space, with a deep understanding of Accounts Payable (AP), procurement processes, and purchase order management.
• Strong expertise in BTP Integration to seamlessly connect SAP with external systems, ensuring smooth data flows and integration points.
• Extensive experience with OData, APIs, and SOAP web services for system integration and extending SAP functionality.
• Highly skilled in ABAP development, including the ability to customize SAP functionality through ABAP reports, enhancements, and user exits.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business users and other IT teams, to define technical specifications and deliver optimal solutions.
• Proven track record of implementing end-to-end SAP S/4 Procurement solutions with a focus on AP and related procurement modules.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
• Experience with SAP Fiori and UI5 for user interface development is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative team environment, to meet project deadlines and business needs.
