Job Description

Pennoni is currently seeking a Senior Engineer and Manager to lead our Construction Inspection and Testing services in the North Jersey/New York City area. Position is based out of our East Hanover, NJ office/laboratory. We are looking for a person with experience consistent with, but not limited to, the following job responsibilities:

• Operational responsibility for construction materials testing laboratory.
• Manage Special Inspections and Construction Materials Testing services in the field.
• Business development and proposals.
• Work with other project engineers, including geotechnical, structural and civil engineers.
• Manage projects and clients.
• Materials/systems includes:
  • Reinforced concrete
  • Bituminous concrete
  • Soils and aggregate
  • Structural steel
  • Engineered masonry
• Manage staffing with workload to ensure efficiency and profitability.
• Staffing and personnel.
• Project management, including invoicing and accounts receivable.

Preferred Licenses and Certifications:

• EIT and/or PE license
• BS in Civil Engineering or related degree
• Related certifications, such as NJDCA, ACI, ICC, AWS
