Job Title: Senior IT Solution Architect

Location: Dallas

Job Description

  • The Solution Architect is responsible for developing the solution design to meet the agreed business requirements
  • The role will involve solution architecture development, technical planning, high level systems project definition, identification of key technical and non-functional requirements and constraints, high level cross-project design and technical liaison with other teams including the Development Team
  • The Solution Architect is responsible for overseeing the development of the technical & non-functional requirements elicitation done by the Development Team and assurance of project designs against the solution architecture
Key Responsibilities
  • Defining and maintaining the solution architecture and design to enable successful project delivery and meet agreed business requirements
  • Communicate and consult with clients and internal stakeholders to develop appropriate solutions, providing supervision and guidance to the development teams
  • Defining the solution roadmap, and supporting scoping and technical planning in alignment with the Enterprise Architecture
  • Working with the Business Analysts and the Business Domains to understand the business and user requirements
  • Continually research the current and emerging technologies and propose changes, where needed
  • Overseeing the detailed creating of the technical and non-functional requirements by the Development Team either internally or managing externally the suppliers
  • Contribute to the definition of process and procedures to provide guidance on the implementation, timelines and costs

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of technical experience
