Your new company
Join a 45+ year old MEP Engineering Firm as a Senior Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer, based mid-town Manhattan. Work on unique projects spanning Commercial, Residential, Education and other industry segments. Base salary circa $115k to $135k.

Your new role

• Lead the design and development of plumbing and fire protection systems for various projects
• Perform and review detailed calculations, system layouts, and specifications
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes and standards, including NYC Building Codes and NFPA standards
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project integration
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and designers
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards
• Prepare and present technical reports and documentation to clients and stakeholders
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise and solutions

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a strong background in plumbing and fire protection design, with the ability to manage and execute complex projects from inception to completion.
