Position Overview
We are seeking an extroverted, creative, high-energy, dynamic, customer-focused Senior Recruiter to join our HR department to help us drive all aspects of the talent acquisition relationship management responsibilities for a complex downstream oil & gas company. This specialist role acts as a subject matter expert to HR and line managers for all in-region recruitment and staffing and reports to the Recruitment Manager. This individual will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process from role identification through offer acceptance, as well as being a member of ATS and recruitment strategy projects.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic recruitment partner to hiring managers for the full recruitment life cycle including; role identification, candidate sourcing, interviewing and behavioral assessments, selection, offer processes
- Provide regular status updates to Recruitment Management, Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners on recruitment for open positions; maintain various recruitment tracking and reports, and enhance existing reports where applicable
- Accountable for the development of resourcing strategies incorporating D&I by analyzing market data including talent availability, trends and competitor data
- Proactively develop talent networks and build a pipeline of qualified passive candidates by creating and delivering strategic initiatives to attract candidates through industry contacts, engagement, event participation, association memberships, referrals, and online communities to source high-quality and diverse candidates
- Assist with the development and implementation of an effective sourcing strategy while meeting all budget and hiring targets in line with equal opportunities policies
- Conduct initial phone screens and participate in interviews for mid to senior level roles, making use of appropriate tools such as Workday HRIS system per selection criteria
- Work closely with HR Business Partners, Hiring Managers, Recruitment team and Communications
- Perform moderate travel (domestically) as necessary to various Motiva (Aramco) locations and recruiting events.
- Primary accountability for ATS (Workday) data integrity, accuracy, reporting
- Problem-solving expertise, attention to detail, and self-awareness and self-management skills
- Other tasks as required
Experience and Qualifications:Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 5 years of recruitment experience
- Proven knowledge of governmental guidelines (OFCCP, AAP, Title V)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team player with a focus on continuous improvement and ability to drive an outstanding candidate experience
- Familiarity with various sourcing methods and techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years of recruitment experience
- Proven sourcing expertise (direct sourcing, recruitment advertising etc.)
- Demonstrated skill in business knowledge, partnering, consulting and negotiations
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Workday, Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
- Experience in Oil/Gas, Energy and/or Manufacturing industry
