RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior SEC Analyst to join their team in Scottsdale, AZ. As a Senior SEC Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with SEC reporting requirements and supporting their financial reporting process. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team and make a significant impact on their company's financial operations.Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review SEC filings, including 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other regulatory reports
- Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data for reporting purposes
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements
- Research and interpret new accounting standards and SEC regulations
- Support the external audit process and coordinate with auditors
- Participate in special projects and initiatives related to financial reporting and compliance
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Advanced degree is a plus
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting, preferably with a Big 4 firm
- Strong knowledge of SEC regulations, GAAP, and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Experience with financial reporting software is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
