IDR is seeking a Service Desk Specialist to join one of our top clients in Nashville, TN. This is a 6-month contract + extensions. If you're looking for an opportunity to be part of a large organization and work within a dynamic, team-oriented environment, we encourage you to apply today!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide desktop support for Windows OS, Mac OS, Microsoft 365, and various other software applications, ensuring quick resolution of technical issues.
  • Offer exceptional customer support and training for end users, including ticket tracking through Dynamics and Service Now.
  • Assist in the installation and configuration of hardware and software, ensuring smooth operation for users.
  • Maintain a daily calendar of meetings and events, preparing presentations, agendas, and other necessary documents.
  • Manage inventory and product support, ensuring up-to-date hardware and software configurations are in place.
  • Provide support for remote access software, including VPN configuration, and assist with data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
Qualifications:
  • Experience with Windows OS, Mac OS, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft O365, and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of hardware configuration, Active Directory, and Azure AD.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with experience supporting C-suite executives.
  • Proficiency in ticket tracking tools such as ServiceNow, Dynamics, or Jira.
  • Familiarity with ITIL, disaster recovery planning, and network security.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis, provide system administration, and manage software deployments.
