Job Description Summary
The Settlement Analyst is responsible for timely validation and accurate reconciliation of disputes in Lamb Weston ERP system. In this role you will support all business units and departments enterprise wide overseeing specific strategic customers. It is important that there is a consistent relationship with all customers for ease of processing.
Job Description
• Develop and maintain relationships with extended business functions within Lamb Weston and be the first point of contact for escalation on dispute resolution.
• Act as a liaison between extended business functions, customers and the Associate Settlements Analysts
• Validate disputes in SAP and ensure they are properly reconciled.
• Plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, and output.
• Complete periodic account reviews of settlements volume with sales or external customers.
• Develop, lead, and execute projects for dispute trends or issues.
• Support team with any questions as well as helping backup Other Duties, Analytics and Projects as assigned to support the business.
• Make business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, and justifiable in accordance with SOX audit compliance, organization policies, and organization procedures.
• Able to think critically and use resources available to handle more complex and/or detailed customer issues escalated from associate settlement analysts.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for missing information required to conduct monthly touch points with customers or sales team on optimization, timely claims, trends, and any other relevant topics or concerns.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.
• 3-5 years accounts receivable, credit, collections and/or trade or non-trade deduction resolution experience required.
• Research, strong problem-solving, mathematical, and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, analytics, and ability to quickly learn and utilize multiple systems and draw appropriate conclusions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities or projects
• Ability to work independently and as a team player, be organized, and plan ahead
• May require presentations to Sales, internal departments, and customers.
*If local, this position will require one day a week at the Kennewick, WA office.
