RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is searching for Senior C# Azure Engineer - Serverless Computing for an industry leading client in the Frisco/McKinney, TX area working 3 days onsite.Summary:We are seeking an experienced Application Developer with a strong background in eCommerce. As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions on the Azure platform, specifically tailored for eCommerce applications. Your expertise in Azure and eCommerce will play a pivotal role in optimizing our clients' online shopping experiences and driving business growth.Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and deploy Azure-based solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, architects, and project managers, to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions
- Implement Azure services, such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and Azure CDN, to ensure optimal performance and availability
- Integrate third-party systems, extensions, and APIs with Adobe Commerce/Magento to enhance the eCommerce functionality
- Optimize the application architecture for scalability, performance, and security in a cloud environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Azure infrastructure, integrations, and eCommerce functionalities
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as an Azure Developer, with a strong focus on eCommerce
- In-depth understanding of Azure cloud services, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and Azure CDN
- Experience with C#, Azure, serverless computing, .NET Core, and Azure Functions
- Experience with serverless computing is very important, with a focus on Azure functions, storage, application insights, application gateway, and API management
- Requires adaptability and ownership, as it's not a large enterprise-level team; The candidate will need to own the application and be comfortable interacting with stakeholders
- Hands-on .NET/C# experience along with strong Azure cloud skills
- Strong knowledge of eCommerce concepts, such as catalog management, order management, payment gateways, and shipping integrations
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools in an Azure environment
- Familiarity with web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs, and JSON
- Solid understanding of cloud architecture principles, security best practices, and performance optimization techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Azure certifications, such as Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect
- Experience with other eCommerce platforms or frameworks, such as Shopify, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce
- Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management tools
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
