Our client is seeking a seasoned Sr. Data Modeler to join their dynamic team. This role is integral to the organization, focusing on data modeling, fine-tuning queries, creating tables, and managing data relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze requirements from business users to create various types of models representing several levels of detail.
- Harmonize data from multiple databases by cleaning data to eliminate incomplete, incorrect, and inconsistent entries.
- Construct, test, and implement portions of information management solutions through application of appropriate software development life cycle methodology.
- Participate in standard business and technical information technology solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions.
- Identify and define processes and data, integrating it into an enterprise perspective.
- Support project lifecycle from scoping/planning to deployment of information management system.
Specific Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Database Design, Dimensional Modeling, and Data Warehousing Skills.
- Experience in creating a set of database tables which supports efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Proficiency in Erwin Data Modeling Tool and Metadata Management.
- Ability to create and maintain Data Models using Erwin.
- Proficiency in SQL, including DMLs and DDLs to query databases, create tables, and manage data relationships.
The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of platforms and applications across all technologies. They will be responsible for the functional design and architecture of information management systems across all technologies and platforms. This role also sets the direction for data governance and defines criteria for selecting the organizational structure of information management.
