At YETI, the Senior Independent Sales Account Manager is a highly motivated & self-driven sales professional with excellent communication skills, business savvy, and able to quickly engage with customers and build relationships. The Senior Independent Sales Account Manager is a true trusted advisor, while helping retail clients build their business by selling the full range of YETI products. They thrive in fast-paced, ever-changing entrepreneurial environments. Their superior sales skills allow them to stay on top of the pack. Responsibilities:
The Senior Independent Sales Account Manager is responsible for communicating the YETI brand story, presenting product, building strong trade channel relationships while achieving sales objectives and targets within a defined sales territory.
• Responsible for the following state: Florida
• Establish strong relationships with customers across multiple trade channels
• Build an organized and disciplined territory coverage plan based on our strategic tiering system
• Strategically partner with dealers on selling best practices
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and direction to sales team members
• Submit accurate territory forecasts within defined timeline
• Prepare sales reports, customer reports, expense reports as directed
• Attend sales meetings, training programs and trade shows as requested
• Provide timely communication and preeminent customer service
• Manage territory expenses within a budget
• Work effectively with customer service, marketing, and operations departments
Qualifications and Attributes:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• At least 6 years of outside sales/account management experience
• Outdoor and sporting goods experience preferred
• Premium consumer products experience preferred
• Proven track record delivering on defined sales objectives
• Self-starter, self-motivated with strong time management skills
• Competitive, self-confident and growth oriented
• Must currently reside in one of the following states: Florida
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of time on the road to customers
