A day in the Life:
- Lead and manage EHS staff and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
- Develop and conduct EHS training and risk assessments.
- Represent the company in interactions with regulatory bodies.

- Proven leadership abilities and a dedication to encouraging a zero-injury culture.
- Outstanding decision-making and negotiation skills.
- Strong relationship-building and effective communication skills.
Education- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (MS or equivalent experience preferred).
Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of EHS experience in the chemical and/or pharmaceutical industry.
- Extensive knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety protocols.
- Proven track record in continuous improvement environments.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Expertise in regulatory compliance, Chemical Safety, Process Safety, and Occupational Safety.
- Strong background in Environmental Compliance and Permitting.
- Proficient in software tools such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and Visio.
Physical Requirements / Work EnvironmentThis role requires occasional travel up to 30% and the ability to manage EHS operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
