Sr. Project Analyst - CAD
Location: Sheboygan, WI
The Sr. Project Analyst will support New Product Development CAD team and will be responsible for high quality and efficient designs, project management, and supporting global initiatives. Will lead and collaborate with CAD resources domestically and internationally along with coordinating work to others as needed. Responsible for supporting and at times ensuring all standards and processes are compatible throughout all functions and regions. This position requires a highly technical background that can easily adapt and provide expertise in systems and processes. Responsible for assisting in regional documentation of processes, standards, and training materials.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and coordinate CAD design work using CREO, Windchill, and design intent with fundamental understanding of manufacturing processes. Analyze designs and make recommendations for changes, modifications, or cost reductions.
- Influences teams in engineering best practices and practical problem-solving involving design, fabrication, validation, systems, and processes.
- Work in conjunction with Engineering System Support to standardize software, and processes.
- Effectively communicate, support, and contribute information and best practices cross functionally and cross culturally.
- Participate and lead global design and harmonization efforts.
- Support genset conceptual and development builds through a gated engineering release process.
- Continually strive for process and CAD standards improvements, including model-based definition, model-based enterprise and smart connected factory efforts.
- Makes appropriate decisions using decision support tools and critical thinking including risk/reward ratios and critical pathing. Independently resolve software issues using reporting tools and service requests
- Takes ownership and accountability of both individual work and work completed as part of a team.
- Build business relationships, trust, and engagement amongst teams.
Skills/RequirementsEDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Associate Degree in Mechanical Design or similar. 5+ Years of design experience preferred or bachelor's degree in a non-engineering discipline. 5+ Years of experience in an engineering environment with demonstrated results required.
- Experience with sheet metal design and surfacing preferred.
- Experience with Creo Simulation Tools a plus.
- Self-starter, ability to work independently and/or with teams.
- Communicates well, possesses strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Analytical with a high degree of problem-solving skills and data analysis skills.
- Makes appropriate decisions using support tools and critical thinking.
- Willing and successful in taking moderate risk.
- Well organized, manages time and projects effectively.
- Creative problem solver in all aspects of the role.

The salary range for this position is $73400 - $92500. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
