Axogen is hiring for a REMOTE Stock Plan Administrator!

Job Summary of the Stock Plan Administrator

The Stock Plan Administrator, reporting to the Director, SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting, administers Axogen's stock plans and related accounting entries and disclosures. Prepares and provides information to employees about vesting schedules, exercise process and eligibility. Successful incumbents are familiar with global equity incentive programs (stock options, RSUs, PSUs & ESPP) for public companies.

Requirements of the Stock Plan Administrator
  • Minimum 5 years of related financial work experience in a corporate setting.
  • Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or related discipline.
  • Very strong attention to detail and ability to perform self-audit to always ensure data integrity and utmost accuracy.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and proven ability to make informed decisions.
  • Deep knowledge and experience with all facets of Equity Edge & E*TRADE's stock plans platform is highly desirable.
  • Experience with SOX compliance; adherence to all organizational policies and procedures.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • CEP license preferred.
Responsibilities of the Stock Plan Administrator

The specific duties of the Stock Plan Administrator include but are not limited to:
  • Day-to-day administration of all aspects of the equity compensations plans, including ESPP, stock option exercises and RSU releases.
  • Ensuring all forms of equity compensation are administered in accordance with the terms and conditions of the plans from which they are granted in coordination with the Legal department.
  • Coordination of award fair market value valuations with outside firm.
  • Assist with preparation of SEC Forms 3 and 4 for Section 16 filers.
  • Assist with the preparation of equity and stock compensation disclosures in SEC Forms 10Q, 10K and Proxy statements.
  • Budget and forecast stock compensation expense.
  • Generate recurring reports (monthly, quarterly & annually) and respond timely to ad hoc data requests from business partners.
  • Assist with year end income tax reporting of equity transactions.
  • Perform reconciliations and provide reporting for key SOX controls.
  • Strong collaboration between payroll, human resources, and legal.
  • Maintain data integrity and ensure accuracy of recordkeeping of equity data using Equity Edge Online.

  • Provide excellent customer service to equity participants at all levels and to partners across departments.
  • Responds quickly to employee questions in a courteous and satisfactory manner, including training and equity topics.
  • Help develop and document training programs and materials, create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other communications as needed.
  • Generate internal reporting of related KPIs.
  • Complying with all company policies, procedures, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and Sarbanes Oxley Section 404 internal controls.
  • Bridge finance, legal, and HR functions by facilitating accurate tax and accounting processes, ensuring legal compliance, and communicating equity program benefits to employees.
  • Ensuring that financial and Sarbanes Oxley documentation is maintained in an acceptable manner.
  • Driving scalability and cost saving initiatives.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

This position is eligible for an annual bonus. Salary Range

$86,994-$108,743 USD

Axogen is on a hybrid work schedule for some of our positions based out of our headquarters in Florida, with 3 days in office and 2 days remote. The hybrid work schedule does not include sales or facilities in Ohio or Texas.

Axogen follows healthcare system guidelines with respect to credentialing, vaccinations and other employment/compliance related requirements, as well as CDC guidance. Axogen reserves the right to amend its policies from time to time in its sole discretion.
