Nature & Purpose of Position:The College of Criminal Justice is looking for 7-8 counselors to assist with three summer camps. Counselors will be responsible for traveling with students (15-17 years of age) to off campus field trips (Montgomery County Police Department, Prison Museum, Harris County Fire Marshal, Montgomery County Morgue, Walker County Jail), attending meals with students, doing room checks at night, and overall supervising during on-campus presentations. Counselors will be required to spend the night at a residence hall and will work in shifts to cover the entire camp. Camp dates are: Camp I: June 9-13, 2024; Camp II: June 23-27, 2024; Camp III: July 7-11, 2024.
pursuing degree in Criminal Justice, Security Studies, Victim Studies, or Forensic Science;
able to drive 15 passenger van preferred but not required; knowledge of campus resources.
