Job Summary
    The Supervisor, Risk Management oversees the work of the Risk Coordinators to ensure team member accuracy and productivity. This position also analyzes coverage placement, supervises claims administration, oversees loss forecasting, and serves as an internal/external audit liaison.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Supervise Risk Coordinators including establishment and maintenance of performance success planning, day-to-day performance management, and career development planning.
    • Responsible for maintaining a high level of team member engagement, improving retention, and ensuring team member productivity and satisfaction.
    • Manages Third-Party Administrator (TPA) relationships and performance to minimize the company's losses by providing strategic direction and ensuring best-practice claims handling.
    • Provides regular updates to leadership and monitors completion of department tasks, reports progress and issues, aligns efforts with resource and prioritization goals, and/or develops strategies to overcome challenges.
    • Responsible for supervising captive programs including actuarial reporting, coordinating annual audits, overseeing activities of third-party captive managers, facilitating annual captive board meetings, and addressing any regulatory inquiries and requirements.
    • Compiles underwriting information needed for insurance renewals oversees claims administration activities of the Third-Party Administrator (TPA), supports loss forecasting, and assists with loss prevention/control activities.
    • Identifies trends and develops cost control programs to reduce the frequency and severity of claims and supports the risk manager regarding all aspects of the enterprise-wide risk management program.
    • Responsibilities include facilitating the identification of risks throughout the organization, developing reporting and monitoring formats on risk management issues, and developing methodologies for the assessment of risks throughout the organization.
    • Supports the department manager regarding all aspects of corporate insurance programs such as underwriting information and coverage placement, claims administration, loss forecasting, and analysis to assist in loss reduction.
    • Researches and resolves coverage issues in collaboration with brokers, business leaders, and, as needed, coverage counsel.

    Qualifications

      Education & Years of Experience
      • High School Diploma/GED plus 5 - 7 years of work experience

      Additional Experience

      • Experience in risk management and/or large-size business
      • Experience with risk analytics
      • Experience working in Healthcare | Preferred
      • Experience working in Staffing and/or Workforce Solutions | Preferred
      • Prior leadership experience | Preferred

      Work Environment / Physical Requirements

      • Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
      • Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

        Pay Rate
        $82,000 - $97,500 Salary
        Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
