Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions, LLC, a Yum! Brands Co-op, is currently seeking a Supply Chain Modeler within the Network Strategy group to join the Transformation team.

Overview of the Position:
RSCS supports Yum! Franchisees with supply chain services to 21,000+ restaurants and $20B in revenue across Pizza Hut, KFC, Taco Bell, Habit Burger & Grill, and A&W in the United States. The Network Strategy team is responsible for ensuring the supply chain is optimally configured to deliver high quality service at the best possible cost. The team is responsible for generating a pipeline of productivity projects capable of saving millions of dollars annually.

The Supply Chain Modeler/Engineer will own all aspects of the Network Optimization model, which will be used to design an enhanced supply chain for RSCS. In order to effectively do this, the candidate will require an understanding of the physical supply chain design and be able to translate that knowledge into an accurate representation of the network in the modeling tool. This role requires facility with large data sets, a detail oriented and analytical mind, with a desire to continually improve processes. The modeler will be responsible for building the model, running all scenarios, interpreting the results, and supporting the Supply Chain Sr. Manager of Network Strategy in preparing business cases.

Essential Functions:
• Ability to translate a business requirement into a logical Network Optimization Scenario
• Proficient in SQL and other ETL methods to feed data into and out of the Net. Opt. tool
• Ability to vet inputs, identify outliers and feedback data concerns to business partners.
• Designs scenarios required to achieve the intended business insights.
• Runs and interprets the scenario results.
• Creates and maintains visual reports to show the model results for business consumption.
• Automates ETL and Reporting tasks.
• Builds support tools to properly maintain the network model with clean data inputs.
• 5 years of Supply Chain Operations, Planning, and/or Strategy related experience
• Outstanding Troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of relational databases, and ability to write automation scripts for data inputs/outputs for the
model
• Experience using Network Optimization Tools such as Coupa's Supply Chain Guru, OptiLogic CosmicFrog, etc.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Position Education and Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree required in Supply Chain, Engineering and/or Data Analytics or related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of Supply Chain experience in Operations, Planning or Strategy.
• Prefer prior experience with Network Design, or Network Optimization related work.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Teams, Excel, and Outlook. Requires strong PowerPoint skills.
• Prefer experience in visualization Tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
