RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a reputable financial services firm in the greater Washington, DC area is looking to hire an SVP of Investments & Treasury.Summary:The SVP of Investments & Treasury will play a critical role in overseeing risk management and investment strategies to ensure the firm's financial stability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, investment strategies, and risk assessment within a corporate environment.Duties Include:- Develop and implement investment strategies to maximize returns on the company's portfolio while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements
- Monitor and analyze market trends, economic conditions, and investment opportunities to inform decision-making
- Conduct regular portfolio performance reviews and adjust strategies as necessary to meet financial objectives
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks related to investments, liquidity, and capital management
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk management framework, including policies and procedures
- Conduct regular risk assessments and stress tests to evaluate the impact of various scenarios on the company's financial health
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee the acquisition and disposition of financial assets, including but not limited to bonds, equities, real estate, and other securities
- Evaluate potential investments and divestments to ensure they align with the company's strategic goals and risk tolerance
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Provide strategic insights to senior management regarding investment opportunities, financial risks, and asset management
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports, forecasts, and analyses to the CFO and Board of Directors
- Assist in the development of long-term financial plans and capital allocation strategies
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in treasury, investment management, or a related financial role, with significant experience in financial services or banking
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies, and risk management principles
- Proven track record of managing large investment portfolios and executing asset transactions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
