What you will be doing

Pay: $22.50 w/shift differential

Shift Details: Full-Time | Sunday 9:00am-5:30pm; Monday-Thursday 1:30pm-10:00pm (with OT as needed)

Employment is subject to verification of pre-hire tests, which may include drug screening and background checks when permitted by state or local laws.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Several duties within the facility are available for 'Non-Pharmacy' trained personnel. Warehouse Associate personnel duties can vary based on the number of prescriptions fulfilled during a shift.

• Verifies merchandise received against receiving documents, notes and reports discrepancies and any obvious damages.
• Stock shelves with various types of merchandise.
• Rotates stock so that newly-received items can be used last.
• Packing - completes patient order by placing prescriptions and associated paperwork into a shipping bag using a computer and automated bagger.
• Mail Manifest - scans and makes US mail or UPS (if overnight delivery) ready completed/packed mail order prescriptions.
• Sortation - Assists the staging of prescriptions to be sorted into identified totes using an automated sorter
• Central Fill Manifest - prints tote manifest documentation for each filled/closed tote and prepare nightly driver manifest for each truck line picking up totes from Central Fill.
• Staging - loads finished totes to designated areas for pickup
• Performs daily cycle counts as directed by the shift supervisor and researches discrepancies.
• Maintains a clean work area to help ensure that merchandise remains clean and to help prevent work related injuries.
• Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules as defined by State Board of Pharmacy and DEA regulations.
• Must be able to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Requires completion of a high school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of one (1) year of equivalent work experience.

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to read and understand the English language to compare and read product descriptions, names and shelf labels.
• Must possess basic mathematical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
• Strong organizational skills; detail oriented.
• Ability to use good judgment to carry out detailed instructions.
• Basic computer knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to operate equipment at high levels (20'-40') such as reach truck, picker machine, forklift, etc.
• Ability to help train and assist associates when needed.
• Must be a team player and demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain appropriate attendance standards.

$31,500 - 46,530

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
